Jonathan H. Loer, CFP®
Co-founder and Chief Planning Officer
Jon has spent over 25 years in the financial advisory industry developing and executing strategic financial plans for individuals across a variety of backgrounds. As Chief Planning Officer, Jon ensures each client has a deep understanding of their finances so that they not only understand the strategic importance of planning but also its positive impact upon family members. He takes pride in making complex subjects easier to understand and acts as a consultant to his clients. His approach includes combining financial and relationship management to deliver the best results for his clients.
Jon enjoys working with clients and walking them through the Renaissance Wealth 8-step Process. Being independent and truly objective allows Jon to mitigate conflicts of interest throughout a client’s financial journey with Renaissance.
One important way we avoid these conflicts of interest is by having clear fee structures and not selling financial products. Jon finds these essential elements necessary to create and sustain a partnership over time. His passion is to tell the Renaissance story and inspire people to embrace change throughout their lives. Guiding people and their finances through these life changes is what gives Jon true fulfillment and purpose.
Jon graduated from Purdue University and received a Certificate of Financial Planning through Boston University. He is a current Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and is a Certified Health Savings Advisor (CHSA®).
When he’s not helping clients exceed their financial goals, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and competing in Ironman competitions. He has completed 3 Ironman triathlons over the last 8 years and believes that physical fitness is crucial for life as well as financial success.
